Here it is folks, just like I promised. Let me give you a little project rundown for those who don’t know. First off, major daps going out to the big dawg GOLDENCHYLD of THE BANGERZ for doin’ what he does. This project wouldn’t have been possible without his talent and work. So, I totally forgot that “THE PRELUDE” project featuring Don Prahfit, DJ Ace, & Goldenchyld included all the instrumentals in the download package. I took a listen to Oversmash and instantly was inspired to create that type of sound. Not having any production experience in creating this sound, the idea struck me to do a re:work, basically use the original beat and musically paint over it with the SmoovGroovs steelo, as a segue for me to get into this style of production. I brought up the idea to GC and he was super on board with it!
I laid down all the synths, textures, leads, and some vocal skratches on the hook. Oh, and all the FX were tweeked live. This project helped me get through some personal $hit at the beginning of the year, as you can hear it in my wailing synth leads and the overall tone of the re:work. Hope y’all can dig it! Feel free to share it, download it, slap it on your iPOD, whateva!

Oversmash (Instrumental)
You ever have those moments when SOLID ideas come to your head and you start wylin’ out like crazy cause you know you can make a DOPE PRODUCT?! Well, that was me today while I was driving. I totally forgot that the instrumentals for “The Prelude” project were included in the download package. I’ve been meaning to explore other areas of music and stepping outta my comfort zone lately. Mr. Goldenchyld (The Bangerz | Boom Zapp) has paved the musical way for the younger generation to follow and continue to elevate. I came across this instrumental “Oversmashed” produced by Goldenchyld, and a whole bunch of ideas came to my head. Be on the lookout for my next Audio/Video Drop. This’ll be my segue as to what’s in store for production this year.
