I met this dude, back when I was schoolin’ at SDSU [San Diego State University] a few years ago, (whattup 619!)…and we had a few music classes together, including African Drumming, yess, African Drumming. I already could tell there was something fresh about this kid when when I saw him…I finally heard his work on the interwebs and was truly impressed. This young frontrunna has illy steelo. Think of a cross pollination of Dilla, Madlib, Nujabes, and FlyLO.
